Persuader American Angling is a company that is starting to make a big splash in the fishing world. The company has some world class products for the serious angler and is one of the largest buzzbait makers in the country (over 60 models). Here are a few of the products that caught my eye at the recent ICAST tackle show.

Persuader Spinnerbaits – Quality material such as the 5/0 long shank Mustad Ultra Point hooks, Worth ball bearing swivel, .035 wire for greater vibration and powder painted fish head design with large reflective eyes.

Pro Assassinator Spinner Baits come in two styles.... Pro Assassinator 'Clacker Blade' Spinner Baits with the patented clacking willow blade system comes in three weights and sizes. Pro Assassinator 'Premium' Spinner Baits in the traditional style of quality spinner baits, with several blade styles available; including willow/willow, Colorado/willow, Colorado/Colorado and single Colorado in four weight sizes. Both styles come with 13 different color combinations, and gold and/or nickel blades.

Buzzbait - 5/0 long shank Mustad Ultra Point hooks with .045 wire for strength on most models. The baits have Bio-Flex silicone skirts for maximum durability and clear powder painted blades for greater visibility. The largest and flattest powder painted heads are designed for fast and easy planing during those slow retrievals.

The Two Timer' Buzz Baits feature 5/0 long shank Mustad Ultra Point hooks for increased hook sets and .045 gauge stainless wire for durability. Patented aluminum blades turn in opposite directions with custom Bio-flex 'Natural Scales' silicone skirts for maximum durability. All available in the 1/2 oz. size and five fish attracting colors.

Casting (Football) Jigs come with a custom head design that includes a recessed line tie, corkscrew holder on the hook shaft to attach plastic trailers, an Owner deep throat wide gap hook. Three sizes to choose from.

Persuader Flipping Jigs (known as the 'Big Jig') feature a super strong Owner 3x hook and double 'on-off' rattle. Two sizes to choose from and both styles feature eight color combinations and powder printed heads to minimize chipping.

Swim Bait - The ultimate in realistic detail including scale, fin, gill, and mouth impressions. The lure has a powerful impregnated fish attracting scent and a homing rattle in the tail section that activates each time the tail moves back and forth. Comes in six super colors including Grey Shad, Rainbow Trout, Baby Bass, Bleeding Shad, Hitch and Lake Perch. Great for largemouth bass and Toledo Bend stripers, as well as northern pike, muskie and lake trout.
